IncrediMail is a free e-mail client, much like Outlook Express in terms of layout and basic functions.

The adding of accounts, message rules, working with different identities is almost the same as in Outlook. If you have worked with Outlook, you will have no problems with this software. But you will get much more fun.

With IncrediMail you can create special emails for special occasions, with sounds, animations and 3D effects, using thousands of different email backgrounds, adding all kind of emoticons (see screenshots).

IncrediMail is compatible with leading email services like Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL, and supports POP mail protocols as well as HTML mail formatting. You will be able to import your e-mail accounts, messages and contacts fast an easily from your actual email client.

Another fun feature is the animated notifier for incoming mails, by default it’s a butler that appears walking onto your screen from the bottom right hand corner saying “You have mail, sir”, there are a lot of other options from where to choose a duck that “quacks”, a dog that barks, etc (see screenshot added).

You can go Premium paying a licence and you will get more skins, no adds, the notifier gets more intelligent, and you get a junk filter among other features.

Minimum requirements: Windows XP. MS Internet Explorer 6 or higher. It supports Vista.
